A large group of protesters made its way through Capitol Hill, First Hill and the Central District on Saturday night, protesting for racial equality and against President Donald Trump and what the demonstrators see as police brutality.

So far the protest has been peaceful.

The group gathered at Seattle Central College about 6 p.m. for speeches and a rally. But the marchers split off from the organizers and walked away.

The group formed a circle at 12th Avenue and Cherry Street and sat down.
